IVAR Cabinet
I collaborated with the firm’s graphic designer to create a locally relevant design to implement on one of our IVAR cabinets displayed in the sustainability shop. The design combines the Scandinavian traditional style with items relevant to the Cincinnati area—such as tigers for the Bengals, chili dogs for Skyline, and the gothic design centered in between the doors to allude to the architectural churches scattered around the city. The purpose of painting one of the display cabinets is to show customers that they can “D.I.Y.” any of their pine furniture with paint, stain, and other materials to personalize what they purchase.
Takeaway Displays
These displays reside at the top of the takeaway shelves that sit behind one of the first two showrooms upon entering the store. The displays are made up of the products that are featured in their respective rooms, and are strictly for visual appeal. They attract customers who may be farther away and encourage them to explore the products that they may purchase beneath the displays.
